About 15 years ago, I bought these, but I couldn't wear them because they were too sweet and sticky, even for winter. I gave them to my mom, and they still sit in her closet as an extra layer of clothing. She occasionally sprays them to keep moths away. I tried them again recently, and they still have the same overwhelmingly sweet notes. If you like an intense honey scent with a hint of pepper, these might be for you.

As soon as I received it, I sprayed it on my wrist, and I could still smell the fragrance the next day, so I believe it's long-lasting. Perfect for those who love sweet scents. This fragrance is a continuation of the one in the yellow-blue box. It's a rich perfume, but I wouldn't call it a classic French scent. It resembles many of today's contemporary creations by perfumers. It's not groundbreaking, but it’s a complex blend of chypre, floral, and spicy notes. I probably wouldn’t buy it again. The bottle looks like a bar of gold crafted by a talented artisan, with its beautiful golden glass. To me, it’s comparable to high-end fragrances like those from Dior or Chanel, especially one of the versions of Miss Dior. It's a worthy purchase that smells luxurious and elegant. It may not pair with jeans, but nowadays, you can wear velvet with sneakers, and it will still look beautiful. I recommend it. It's impossible to describe the mood it evokes—golden and opulent. It reminds me of the old niche scent Fidji by Guy Laroche. The brand's hallmark is not just its price but also its very high quality.
