This product is not aggressively harsh, which makes it very gentle on the cuticles. I used it to remove old gel polish, then I applied one coat of gel and later filed it off again and applied a different one, all in one go. The cuticles were unharmed, and both the gel polish and the gel for extensions were easy to file off.
