Shower Cream 'South of France' Tsukerka Shower Cream

I've been buying this shower cream for a long time, along with the Banana Ice Cream cream—these are my favorites. They're great for both summer and winter. They don't lather much, which is good because they don’t dry out the skin; instead, they soften and nourish it. When I run out of these creams, I immediately feel sad and quickly reorder them so I can continue enjoying well-cared-for skin after showering. Thank you, Tsukerka! I decided to try this shower cream, and the consistency is soapy, with a terrible smell! For the price, it would be more economical to buy three bars of Dove soap, as the effect is the same. Maybe I just happened to pick the only product from this brand with such a "result." I bought it without reading any reviews, and perhaps I might try something else from their range in the future, but I definitely don't recommend this cream.

The scent was very disappointing. Upon opening the lid, instead of lavender, I was greeted by a smell reminiscent of a men's deodorant from the Nivea line. When applied, the expected lavender of southern France unexpectedly clashed with the aroma of household soap deodorant. This was a bit worrying, as it made me fear it might dry out my skin, but it didn't seem to tighten it.

Regarding the texture, it looks very appealing visually, but in reality, it's more like a dried, crumbly cream. Based on other reviews, it was supposed to be a proper cream, but perhaps there was an issue with the packaging. While the metal part was well-attached, the cardboard liner fell out when opened. I'm not sure—it doesn't seem like a cream and certainly not like lavender. I added a star because visually, everything looks very nice, and the cream appears light and even appetizing, but only until you smell or use it.

I just purchased this product. Previously, I was using the "Banana Ice Cream" cream, but I like this one more. The scent is perfect for lavender lovers, and it has a soft, creamy texture. The aroma lingers on the skin for a while and it lathers well. Most importantly, it contains natural ingredients and moisturizes the skin. The design is modern too. I want to try every variety. I've already ordered the strawberry-scented one.

The idea and texture of the product are interesting, but the scent reminds me of an old moth repellent with a lavender fragrance. Others have compared it to the strong scent of men's shaving gel or cream. I definitely won't be choosing lavender again.

I can't say the cream has any noticeable effect; it's just another shower-time novelty, nothing more.

I’m not sure what the south of France smells like, but this scent is quite unusual. I didn’t like it. It dries out my skin, and after using it, I feel like I need to soak in moisturizing cream. The bottle is pretty, though.

The shower cream is very gentle. My dry skin feels soft and not dried out after using it. It's also economical to use. The scent takes me back to my childhood in Crimea, surrounded by fields of lavender. I will definitely buy it again. Additionally, I'm pleased that this company does not test its products on animals.

This product is incredibly gentle and nourishing for cleansing and moisturizing the skin. It contains small exfoliating particles, likely from peach kernel oil, providing a mild scrubbing effect. It lathers well. Highly recommend!

This review is not about the product itself, which I like for its texture, lather, and ease of rinsing, but specifically about two issues:

1) The scent: To my personal taste, it doesn't smell like lavender but rather like men's shaving foam, which is quite strong.

2) The product arrived with a loosely attached protective seal (under the lid - the manufacturer will understand). I previously ordered the same cream in banana scent, and the protective seal was well-adhered, keeping the cream smooth and fresh. However, this one had a torn seal and was dry and not creamy at all, as if it had lost a lot of moisture.

The product feels very nice on the skin, and sometimes I don't even want to wash it off!
