There is nothing superfluous, loud, or provocative about Etro Ambra Eau de Toilette. Despite the fragrance being quite rich, all its components harmoniously complement each other, creating a sense of innocent purity, cohesion, confidence, and mystique.
The spicy coriander in the top notes asserts itself with utmost calmness, preventing all the fragrant shades from breaking out abruptly, instead making them resonate quietly, alongside the zest of citrus freshness from bergamot and lemon, as well as the sharpness of fir resin. The "heart" of the perfume is a herbaceous-balsamic labdanum, bitter patchouli, styrax, and soothing frankincense. In the base notes, amber unfolds as the main protagonist of the composition, along with resinous-spicy opoponax, slightly animalistic musk, and enticing vanilla.
It has a very pleasant scent of licorice candies, and a hint of propolis later on. It lingers on clothes for a long time but fades away from the skin after a few hours. It doesn't feel suffocating in the summer.
I have a great fondness for amber, and here it sounds the best among many others!
