If you have a preference for classic and time-tested perfumed compositions, then the fragrant eau de cologne «Consul» from the Ukrainian brand «Effect» will be a wonderful acquisition. With it, you can refresh your appearance nicely, as well as use it as the final touch to your grooming routine.
The aromatic composition of the cologne has a rather restrained, yet not lacking in spiciness and vivid colors, melody, where measured woody chords and invigorating citrus tunes reign supreme. The harmonious combination of coniferous-fresh, earthy-mossy, and fruity-tart intertwines forms an attractive spectrum, which not only elegantly complements the look but also instills a sense of confidence in its wearer.
I would like to add to my review that with the new label (from 2023), the scent has changed compared to the 2022 version (the label shown on the website). I personally prefer it less, but I can't say that I feel any repulsion towards it. It might just be a coincidence. Anyway, when using it after shaving, the fragrance of colognes is not that important.
I really liked it, the scent lasts quite a long time on me, and it works great after shaving. I can even use it to freshen up a bit. I pour it into a pocket atomizer. In comparison to "Diplomat," it's sharper and more masculine.
