Anti-Acne Cleansing Gel for Oily & Acne-Prone Skin Himani Boro Plus

I bought this product at the pharmacy because of its size, intended for hand luggage. However, within a few days, it completely dried out my oily skin to the point where it became impossible to use. I had to throw it in the trash.

Unexpectedly good gel. It has a small consumption, effectively removes makeup, doesn't dry out the face, but at the same time provides good moisturization. Overall, the sensation is very pleasant.

I have combination, prone to oily, and sensitive skin. I bought two facial cleansers from this company. I am slightly more satisfied with this product. The scent is herbal and subtle. When used, it gives a refreshing sensation on the skin due to the menthol cooling effect. However, since I have sensitive skin, if the gel stays on my face for more than 1-1.5 minutes, it starts to feel unpleasantly tingly. To achieve the feeling of clean skin, I have to apply the gel twice, which I don't like at all because there were budget-friendly gels that did a great job (for example, the gel from Lirene for oily skin). Two stars for economical use and a decent scent. I will not buy this or any other gel from this company again.

I have combination skin: my forehead and cheeks tend to be oily and prone to painful subcutaneous inflammations, with enlarged pores and post-acne on these areas, while the skin on my cheeks and chin is normal and hardly ever has any problems.

I first used this product in March of this year. During the first use, the gel stung my skin so much that it felt like I was washing my face with an antiseptic. I was very upset and even expected an allergic reaction, but despite my worries, I woke up in the morning with a completely clear face!

Now this gel is my absolute favorite for cleansing my face. I use it every morning and evening since March. During this time, acne marks have significantly lightened (most of them have even disappeared!), and there are hardly any new inflammations.

However, there is one NUANCE: as you may have already understood, the gel is quite aggressive and cleanses the skin "to squeak," so after some time of using it, I developed flaking on the areas with normal skin because it was dried out by the product. I deal with this problem through intensive moisturizing: immediately after washing with the gel, I use a moisturizing toner (Masstige Vilcanic Mineral Water, in case someone needs this information. It contains urea, which prevents moisture loss from the skin) and a moisturizing cream (CeraVe Moisturizing Cream, contains hyaluronic acid). And of course, sunscreen is a must to protect vulnerable skin from the effects of ultraviolet rays.

Summary:
• If you have oily, problematic skin prone to breakouts and marks from these breakouts, then this product is perfect for you (but not necessarily, as we are all different and have individual skin characteristics), but don't forget to moisturize your skin after using this gel, as oily skin also needs to stay moisturized!

• If you have combination skin, either apply the gel only to problem areas or moisturize your skin intensively.

• If you have dry, sensitive skin, then look for something gentler.
