I received a smooth, well-polished scraper. It's quite thick along the edges. It's different compared to my previous jade scraper. However, it doesn't have any nicks or chips, and it doesn't scratch the face.
It is quite frustrating that the manufacturer markets this as if it were a natural stone. This type of glass (because it is indeed glass) is called opalite or opalite glass. Natural moonstone is white with possible blue "sheen" inclusions. It is also quite expensive and fragile, so finding a piece of natural moonstone the size of a scraper at this price is impossible. Be cautious!
I received one that was smooth and without any chips. It looks very much like glass, but you can definitely use it. Compared to my previous one, it's thicker and doesn't scratch the skin.
The scraper itself is quite good. It's fairly large (I have a small face, so I would have preferred it to be a bit smaller). It's smoothly polished, so it doesn't scratch or catch on the skin upon contact. The scraper is cool and hefty, which makes it believable that it's made of natural stone. It's convenient to store in its box. However, there is one edge that is over-polished, like a dent, and there are three internal cracks. I'm not too concerned about the cracks, as they might just be part of the stone's natural pattern (if it breaks, I’ll be able to tell if it was along one of those cracks or not). I deducted one star for the imperfect edge polishing. Otherwise, I recommend it!
I previously had a quartz gua sha, but it broke, so I decided to try this one. Overall, it's okay, but since I have something to compare it to, here are my thoughts:
In the photos, you can see it's a bit scuffed, as if someone polished it manually with sandpaper. You can even feel this roughness on dry skin. It doesn't harm the skin, but I suspect I received a defective piece because I didn't notice such imperfections in other people's photos. The material also seems uneven and has some streaks, which was disappointing.
I've been using it for a couple of weeks now. I can say that the edge is quite thin. When I first started using it for massage, like I did with my previous one, I had to adjust my technique because it was painful.
Unfortunately, I can only upload one photo, so I can't show you how one side is more curved and bulging. This makes massaging one side of the face more comfortable than the other when you flip the tool.
Overall, I'm not very satisfied.
I am satisfied with the product. It arrived in its original packaging, intact and without any chips. The color transitions are vibrant, with shades of pink and purple. It's medium-sized and not too thin at the edges. However, based on the sound it makes, I doubt it's actually moonstone; it seems more like glass. The product is made in China. I haven't used the gua sha tool yet, as this is my first time trying it.
I liked it. The quality and delivery were excellent. However, please stop claiming that this is natural stone. Have you seen the prices of moonstones, even though they are semi-precious? This is an artificial "moonstone" and essentially just beautiful glass. But that's actually a good thing because it's more hygienic, with fewer cracks and chips where dirt and microbes can accumulate. Overall, the brand pleasantly surprised me! Wishing you success!
Good quality, I recommend it.
Smooth and neatly crafted stone with an incredible color! The shape is perfect for facial massage.
The downside is that, compared to quartz, it feels warmer. It doesn't have that icy, cold stone sensation and is more akin to plastic in warmth. I understand it's not plastic, but when comparing, it does feel warmer.
This product is of extraordinary beauty. The crystal shimmers with a range of colors, from transparent blue to silvery white and lilac, all within a single stone! I think everyone is already familiar with the concept of gua sha, its purpose, and the understanding that any scraper made from a natural mineral will work as long as you choose the right shape for you. However, the advantage of this stone is undoubtedly its beauty and moonlit glow. The scraper is no more than 4 mm thick and comes in an elegant pink cardboard box. It performs its functions well. I disinfect it with alcohol, and it hasn't been damaged or spoiled. And of course, there's the esoteric aspect (according to the internet): it's believed that moonstone calms and wards off negative thoughts, though I haven't been able to confirm this myself. Not bad for a scraper ;)
I ordered this scraper yesterday and received it today! It's smooth, even, and without any chips! I'm very grateful for the prompt service and the quality of the product!
The scraper is excellent, made 100% from moonstone; I've attached a photo. Someone mentioned that it's opal, which would be quite fortunate, as getting a gemstone of this size for the price would be amazing. If it were opal, the price would be about ten times higher, and not everyone can afford such an expensive accessory. This scraper, however, is fantastic—beautiful, transparent, and I love using it for massages.
The product is beautiful, has a nice weight, and is pleasant to use.
The scraper arrived in perfect condition and looks very nice. There are a couple of lines in the stone, but I think that's quite normal. The massage feels great!
The scraper is excellent, very smooth, and in perfect condition. I highly recommend it.
The scraper has bubbles in it, which makes me question the claim that it's made from natural stone. The surface is also scratched. It looks nice, but the price seems too high for what it is.
The product is very beautiful and smooth, with no chips. The first massage went wonderfully. I hope it continues to be just as good.
Here's a coherent translation of the product review into English:
"The cat's eye color of the scraper is beautiful. It's very convenient for massaging the face and neck. I use it to massage over serum from the brand Mermade.
I bought one scraper and I absolutely loved it! It's much better than the cheaper ones. I really want a second scraper so I can do a synchronized massage. Before starting the massage, I suggest googling how to do it properly. It seems like the previous reviewer still needs to learn how to use it. Once you get the hang of it, you'll realize how amazing it is! Good luck! ;-)
I ordered this gua sha scraper, expecting it to be better than the cheaper ones. However, it turned out to be very thick and uncomfortable to use. The website states that it's made in Ukraine, but the packaging says China.
