The fragrance is named after the city of Avignon in the south of France, whose enchanting atmosphere inspired the designers to create this exquisite scent. Avignon was a religious center for a long time, housing the Papal residence until the 14th century.
The extraordinary composition is primarily based on the fragrance of incense – used in the Catholic cathedrals of Avignon as a symbol of spiritual purification.
Upon contact with the skin, the fragrance reveals sharp and rich notes of chamomile and vanilla, which smoothly transition into the calm and relaxing chords of the mysterious incense and noble resins. I didn't buy it here, but I'll leave a review. This incense is absolutely perfect. While standing in line, I heard someone say it "smells like church," and I thought, well, that's definitely about me. However... I really, really wanted these perfumes, I chased after them to make sure I could grab them, but after 2 months, I sold them. The smell of chamomile "suffocated" me. Incredibly bitter, dry chamomile that overshadowed the entire composition. Unfortunately. Because I absolutely loved the combination of frankincense and vanilla.
Clean scent of frankincense. The longevity and sillage are very weak. The price is inflated. Overall rating: 2 out of 5.
After the first application, I was pleasantly surprised! The scent reminded me of being in a church during a funeral service. It was reminiscent of the most exquisite church incense! I have tried other incense fragrances like Ioewe 7 Ioewe, but this one stood out to me. I am curious to see how it will fare during different seasons. I want to express my gratitude to the makeup team for the fast delivery and the small gift in the form of a sample!
I bought it blindly. All I wanted was a pure incense in a bottle. And I found it. It is impeccable.
Resinous and piney, long-lasting. As a standalone scent, it is a bit heavy, reminiscent of old mummies hissing maliciously at those entering the church. When mixed, it blends wonderfully, bringing discipline and making other fragrances stronger and stricter. A question for the makeup team: Do you pay attention to the amount and nature of the order? It would logically interest me, as someone who purchased two expensive fragrances from you in this order, to receive a sample of a third fragrance. Instead, I received a sample of a terrible scrub that I never use. Do you have a blind disabled person assembling the orders? Or do you simply have such little respect for a customer who regularly spends thousands with you???
The best in its price range!
In my opinion, it seems like Lada was not included here. However, Anik Gutal's incense is more similar to authentic church incense, while this one has a lot of pine tree scent. Nevertheless, I will still use it. The overall scent is long-lasting, but it doesn't leave a lingering trail.
