It's important to screw the bottle not too tightly, without exerting too much force (based on the unfortunate experience of two spilled serums that broke while closing).
As I age, I have developed sun-induced pigmentation despite using protection. I tried this product and I liked it. After a week, the pigmentation started to lighten, although it didn't completely disappear. It's possible that I just need more time.
