I received a serum as a gift from a friend. I opened it yesterday and started applying it to my face when I was hit by a strong smell of rancid oil. I checked the expiration date, thinking that maybe I didn't pay attention and should have used it sooner (even though I received the gift in April), but the expiration date is until 2024.
