The Ukrainian brand Naturalissimo has developed a St. John's Wort hydrosol — a natural tonic that can be used as a facial wash, cosmetic ice, a rinse after shampooing, and a refreshing spray for skin and hair. To create it, hot steam is passed through the green parts of the plant and dried inflorescences. Thus, tannins, essential oils, flavonoids, anthraquinones, vitamins C, E, and trace elements are transferred into the distillate.
Regular use of this product helps to improve skin tone and give it a healthy glow, eliminate dandruff, smooth out fine lines, enhance the regeneration process and microcirculation, as well as relieve pain in muscle spasms, get rid of irritation and acne.
How to use:For enhanced effectiveness of multi-component cosmetic products, St. John's Wort extract in the form of a distillate is used as a liquid base for:
- cleansing agents, gels, and emulsions;
- shampoos and conditioners;

I'm buying my second one, I really like it. The scent is unique, like freshly brewed herbs. It slightly reduces redness, I use it as a toner.

After trying out this brand's hydrolat, I started questioning the quality of my previous ones. It's amazing how this hydrolat doesn't leave a watery sensation on the face. Even the application feels different. The sponge glides smoothly on the skin. However, they have become quite expensive.
This is a great product! I mix it with my alginate mask and also use it as a toner. It effectively eliminates inflammation and hormonal acne within a day. However, the smell is quite intense, though.
It smells just like brewing natural St. John's wort, effectively reducing inflammation. I highly recommend it!
