I have tried lightening my hair by highlighting and lightening dark hair (4 shades lighter). It turned out to be a decent result for techniques like balayage or color stretching. If anyone is interested, I followed the formula of using 1 part bleach powder, 1.5 parts developer, and 1 part 00 dye.
After using this product, my hair started falling out a lot. The instructions stated that it could be left on for up to 45 minutes, but since I wanted a lighter result, I only kept it for 20 minutes. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me at all, so I'm giving it one star and I don't recommend it. I am now undergoing a hair restoration treatment.
