To extract thyme essential oil, dried plants are distilled with steam. This method preserves its beneficial properties to the fullest. It can be used both internally and externally, as well as for room fragrance. Internally, it stimulates capillary circulation, tones the nervous system, improves the gastrointestinal tract, and relieves spasms.
Thyme essential oil is effective for skincare, alleviating itching, eliminating parasites, and combating dermatitis, boils, and purulent lesions. It has antiseptic, bactericidal, and healing effects. It eases conditions such as spasmodic cough, asthma, tuberculosis, and lung diseases. It also helps with rheumatism and in cases of hypothermia.

Skincare:

Enriching cosmetic products: Add 5 drops of oil (or oil blends) to 15 g of base (1-2 tablespoons).

Aromatic shower: 5 drops per 1 liter of water.

Massage: Mix 4 drops of oil (or oil blends) with 1-2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.

Baths: Mix 3-8 drops of oil with 30-60 g of an emulsifier (such as salt, baking soda, honey, bath foam, cream, bran, etc.) and add to a filled bath.

Rubbing: 6 drops per 15 g of base oil.

Oral rinses: Add 4 drops of lemon, 2 drops each of thyme, mint, and geranium to 1 teaspoon of cognac. Use 1 teaspoon of the mixture per glass of warm water.

Inhalations and room fragrance:

Aroma burners: Add 3-5 drops of oil per 15 square meters of space to an aroma lamp filled with water and light the candle.

Aroma medallions: 2-3 drops.

Sensations: When applied to the skin, there may be a slight burning sensation for 3-5 minutes. During inhalation, a mild stinging in the eyes may occur for 1-2 minutes. This reaction is natural.

Contraindications: Do not use during pregnancy, with high blood pressure, or epilepsy. Individual intolerance may occur.
