From 60 to 80 days a year, a physiologically healthy woman of reproductive age experiences menstruation. Therefore, it is crucial for every woman to choose the most comfortable protection method that suits her individual preferences. The professional team at the "Women's Secrets" brand has developed a high-quality alternative to traditional sanitary pads and tampons—the menstrual cup. It "understands the language of a woman's body," ensuring comfort during these days.
Features of the "Eva" menstrual cup by "Women's Secrets":
- Made from medical-grade silicone;
- Hypoallergenic and neutral to the natural pH level of the intimate area;
- Size S – 70x44 mm;
- Designed to hold up to 15 ml of fluid for up to 12 hours;
- Offers ease of use and wearing comfort;
- Recommended for active women under 30 years of age.-
1. Preparation Before Using the Cup: Wash with soap and boil for 10-15 minutes before the first use.
2. Hand Preparation Before Use: Clean hands ensure safe use! Fold the cup in a comfortable way into a "C", "U", or "7" shape.
4. Hold the cup with your thumb and index finger, directing the "stem" into your palm.
5. Insert and rotate: Before inserting the cup, find a comfortable position and relax your pelvic muscles. Insert the cup lower than a tampon. Once the cup unfolds, you might feel slight pressure against the vaginal walls and a suction-like sensation, ensuring it is securely in place and leak-proof. To confirm proper placement, you can gently rotate the cup.
6. Removal (after 8-12 hours): Clean your hands. Locate the cup's "stem" and touch the base. Use two fingers to press the base, reducing suction against the vaginal walls, and gently pull the cup out with a downward motion.
7. Sterilize between cycles. -

The product is too soft and doesn't create a good vacuum seal, causing it to leak after an hour. As a result, I have to take extra precautions. It doesn't serve its purpose. I previously had a smaller and sturdier version from the same brand, so I don't recommend this one. It's better to choose a higher-quality option for satisfaction.
I join those who found it unsuitable. I got it in the smallest size - S, but it still seems too big for me. It doesn't open up properly, it's uncomfortable to insert, and I really don't want to spend so much time dealing with it. I'll be looking for other options.
I am very satisfied with my purchase. After using a menstrual cup, I can't go back to pads—it's like night and day. The only downside is that the stem tore quickly, which made it inconvenient to use.
The product doesn't work as expected and doesn't fulfill its purpose. I'm disappointed. It's probably better to buy something more expensive and of higher quality.
The smallest size was 15 ml, but it still felt too big for me! I tried various ways to bend and twist it into an S shape and a rose shape, but it wouldn't open inside. I think I might need to look for an even smaller size.
The worst cup I've ever used! Previously, I used ones from Organic Cup, and they were great. This one, however, is made from very cheap material and arrived misshapen instead of round. It doesn't open properly once inserted. It's better to spend 1000 UAH and use a quality cup for over a year (like Organic Cup) than to deal with this disappointment.
This is my first menstrual cup, and I regret not trying it sooner. I have a size L, and it’s completely unnoticeable. There are no odors, and it’s very comfortable. You can even forget you're on your period.
The product has no odor and no leaks. This cup worked well for me. You just need to learn how to use it. Of course, it might not be suitable for everyone, so listen to your body, and everything will be great.
I had a similar experience to a previous review. Not only was it difficult to insert because it was too large (size S), but it also didn't open up. I made two additional attempts to adjust it, then two more, but it just wouldn't open. I tried twisting it and other methods—nothing worked. I read that it might open on its own over time, so I left it as is. It was uncomfortable and very noticeable, but I thought maybe I just needed to get used to it, so I tried to sleep. I woke up a few hours later with persistent discomfort and pain in the uterine area; it became unbearable and frightening. I finally removed it, and as far as I remember, it never opened.
This is probably a physiological issue, meaning this product might be perfect for someone else. However, I am disappointed and went through a lot of pain and distress because of it, which is why I am giving this rating. It might also be that it's too firm. I think I need to try different sizes or brands.
I don't recommend it. It's too big and very soft. It doesn't open even after multiple attempts. I tried everything, even made additional holes. I’m disappointed.
This is my first cup, so I don't have anything to compare it to. It's soft, but it had a strange smell at first. During the first days of my cycle, it worked great—opened easily and stayed in place, though it was a bit difficult to remove. The stem isn't very convenient for removal; a loop might be better. Later on, when the flow increased, it stopped staying in place and leaked a lot. It was hit or miss whether it would seal properly, and I'm not sure why. Honestly, I wouldn't risk using it during outings without bringing pads just in case, but at home, it's a fantastic money-saver and very comfortable—nothing gets damp or feels uncomfortable.
Soft, doesn't open well. Overall, though, it's a handy item.
For those having trouble with the cup, try using a needle to make an additional 2-4 holes around the existing ones, so there are 4 holes in total instead of 2. This helped me! It creates a stronger vacuum and opens up on the first try.
The cup is inserted into the opening, creating a vacuum. It clings tightly in the narrow, moist space, almost completely disappearing! How does the designer think it's easy to remove it using the damp, flat, short tail? For working women, it's better to choose something else, as it takes 10 minutes for the soft cup to open and another 10 minutes of considerable effort to remove it.
I've been using this cup for a year now. Honestly, it took me the first three months to get used to it, but it's truly a game-changer! I've never felt such comfort with anything else. No odors, no moisture. You need to insert it deeply and a bit outward to create a vacuum. Just follow the instructions and be patient. You'll get the hang of it. The only thing I want now is another one with a loop.
Everything is great. Very convenient. It just takes a little practice to insert it properly. But once you get the hang of it, there's no leakage. I even wore it for 12 hours without any issues—very comfortable. It fills up gradually, and even on heavy days, it only fills up halfway. It's an excellent product compared to those awful pads and tampons. No odor, no leaks, and everything stays clean. Now, monitoring discharge for health reasons is much easier.
I've been using this cup for about six months now. Initially, I had some issues with leaks, and I had to be cautious. However, I eventually realized that you don't need to insert it too deeply. It creates a great seal with an inward-outward motion rather than twisting. Repeat this a few times until you feel the suction and the sound disappears. Twisting didn't help at all, so this might be useful for someone. To sum up: 10/10, but it requires patience. You don't feel it at all, and it doesn't dry you out like a tampon or feel stuffy like pads.
This is my first menstrual cup, and I am thrilled!!! I can't wear tampons regularly because they cause irritation, but with the cup, I've had no issues at all—it's fantastic! I don't feel it at all. My movements are free, and I can wear any underwear. The instructions clearly show how to use the cup, and I got it right on the first try. I highly recommend it!
I'm really grateful to whoever invented this cup. I've found it to be much more economical than using tampons or pads, and it pays for itself after just one cycle. A large pack of tampons costs about 150 UAH, which is what I usually need for one cycle. Over a year, that's 1,800 UAH saved, not to mention the occasional use of pads.
I'm 24, haven't given birth, and everything worked perfectly on my first try. The key is to follow the instructions. Even with my heavy flow, it only filled half the cup overnight (whereas I'd go through several tampons). You can sleep peacefully with it.
Plus, I don't feel it at all, and there are no leaks. It's stated that you can use it for up to 12 hours, so it lasts the whole day until evening.
First of all, this product is truly amazing, even though it took some effort to get used to it. As they say, with great power comes great responsibility. You might find yourself exploring your inner world a bit more deeply.
The medium size is softer than the large, and despite my best efforts, the medium didn't fully open inside, no matter how I tried to position it. Even though I haven't given birth and have a high cervix, this issue was surprisingly resolved by ordering the large size. It is noticeably firmer and opens without any problems, although inserting and removing it is a bit less comfortable. I saw a review mentioning the same issue and solution, so this might be helpful to someone else. If you can, consider getting both sizes.
When correctly opened, the cup truly performs as described.
