I have always used this petroleum jelly and was satisfied with it. Because in winter, it's the only salvation for my hands. This time I bought it, but it has an unpleasant smell. Quite noticeable. I checked the expiration date - everything is fine, until 2026. But that's not all. I applied it to the outer surface of my palms, and after half an hour, it was already gone. Meaning, my skin absorbed it. And that shouldn't happen, it should stay on the surface for a long time. It's a pity that such a good product has become unusable.
I completely misunderstood the comments about odorless Vaseline. I fell for it, silly me. It has a moderate smell, almost like plastic. It's chemical. It moisturizes well, in principle. The tube is convenient, with plenty of product. But it's disappointing that it has a smell, as I have a sensitive sense of smell and it really stands out.

This ordinary petroleum jelly effectively moisturizes and softens the skin. It can be used on hands, cuticles, feet, lips, and more. It can even replace lip balms if poured into a small container, making it convenient to carry around as a lip balm substitute.
This is my lifesaver! It doesn't burn, doesn't have a smell, and really helps! If my lips get chapped (and even as a daily hygiene product it works great), inflamed skin around the nose and inside during a cold (I apply it to myself and to my children at night), in the morning there is no more pain or burning. Small cracks on the skin of my hands (often until they bleed) after being exposed to cold (I also apply it at night), and in the morning my skin feels much better and there are no unpleasant sensations. All hand creams (even for very dry and damaged skin) sting mercilessly. If I run out of cleansing oil and need to remove long-lasting products, this Vaseline handles the task perfectly.
Moreover, this Vaseline comes in a convenient, soft, plastic packaging. Previously, I used to buy Vaseline at the pharmacy. But there, the packaging was mostly extremely inconvenient: either in a jar (difficult to take out), or in a rigid, metal tube (over time, the packaging itself breaks, forming holes).
I sincerely recommend it.

Perhaps the only lip product that doesn't sting, tighten, or cause any peeling afterwards. I decided to try it out instead of lip balms and hygiene products. I must say, for such a price, this product performs unbelievably well. The only downside is that it adds shine, so it may not be suitable for men as a replacement for hygiene products.
