This product is truly a miracle for the skin. I've purchased it many times. It's natural oil, not a synthetic imitation of Shea butter. As some commenters mentioned, it smells like creamy ice cream, a white popsicle. The scent is just wonderfully pleasant. Even my rabbits enjoy sniffing it, and the animals seem to like the scent too. The fragrance is natural, without any artificial additives. It's beneficial for the skin. I apply it on my elbows, legs, and body, and occasionally on my face (though you should use it cautiously on the face as it might cause acne). Among all oils, Shea butter is one of the least comedogenic (unlike coconut oil, which is not recommended for facial use as it can dry out the skin and is advised solely for hair use for shine and cumulative benefits). Shea butter can help those with dermatitis. In winter, it's great to apply on hands instead of cream. It's important to remember that oils are transported by sea in containers, and they can spoil under the sun during shipping. Personally, I've received spoiled products from another brand, but Triuga has never let me down. However, you should be aware that if you encounter this issue, it's not the manufacturer's fault; it can happen during transport. Cosmetics travel to us by sea over several months, and this applies to any imported cosmetic product.

I liked the oil and used it for dry areas on my body, as well as to make a lip balm and scrub. Since the oil is refined, it has a pleasant scent for me—a nutty, coconut-milk aroma—that doesn’t linger on the skin for too long. The oil melts when warmed in the hands. However, I wasn't thrilled that after using the top layer, the oil in the center became clumpy, which made it harder to melt and spread evenly on the skin; the clumps would scatter around.

These clumps don’t affect the quality of the oil, but they are inconvenient to use. I resolved this issue by heating the oil in its container in a water bath until it turned liquid, ensuring all the clumps dissolved. Then, I quickly cooled it down in the freezer. The key is to cool it promptly after it melts. Now, the oil has a smooth, uniform consistency.

The oil didn't impress me much. It has a smell that seems old. The texture is a bit grainy, but that's okay. I used it a few times on my body, but it made my skin itch. However, it did make my heels very soft, even better than cream! I'll try using it on my hair next.

Great alternative to chemical-laden mass-market products. I used to swear by Nivea cream, thinking there was nothing better, but I noticed I was applying it to my hands 3-4 times a day. This was despite doing household chores in rubber gloves and not exposing my hands to harsh conditions. With this oil, I initially moisturized my skin daily, but now only need to do so every 2-3 days, or even weekly, depending on my needs.

The oil moisturizes well, though it doesn’t completely absorb, so I just wipe off the excess with a tissue or rinse it off with water after 5-7 minutes. You can also apply it at night and wear cosmetic gloves.

The only downside for me is the scent. I can't quite pinpoint it, but it’s something like a mix of vanilla and old paper, reminiscent of the smell of very old books. 9/10
