For enthusiasts of Ayurvedic principles and those just getting to know them, this Ayurvedic "Manjistha" universal powder was created especially for you. What does this beautiful exotic word hide? It's a vine with reddish roots, known to be a rich source of valuable minerals, substances, and vitamins, which positively affects both skin and hair. It's no coincidence that cosmetic products made from Manjistha are called "elixirs of youth!"

Mix 1 teaspoon of powder with warm water to form a paste. Apply the mixture to the desired area of skin in need of treatment—face, neck, décolleté, hands, scalp, hair, etc. Leave it on as a mask for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with warm water. If necessary, wipe the skin with a toner and apply a nourishing cream.
To prepare a decoction: Add 1 tablespoon of powder to 500 ml of water, bring to a boil, and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Let it steep for 3-5 hours. Strain.
To prepare an infusion: Add 1 tablespoon of powder to 500 ml of warm water and leave it overnight. Strain. Store in the refrigerator for no more than 2-3 days. Use for washing, skin cleansing, or rinsing hair after washing. If necessary, apply to problem areas on the skin.
It can be used in combination with other Ayurvedic powders for enhanced effects.
The powder dyes the skin, so be careful, but it also evens out the skin and makes it tight, so to speak. I haven't tried it on my hair yet, but my mom jokes that she felt like she was in the Maldives for 15 minutes))
I use this powder for hair coloring with henna, it gives a red hue. I also tried making a face mask, and the result made me laugh until tears. Indeed, it improves the complexion, making it carrot red, so no one will pay attention to dark spots and freckles anymore.
I enjoyed using this powder for my hair. However, when I tried using it as a face mask, I accidentally got some on my eyebrows which resulted in my skin turning orange and my eyebrows becoming red. If I do decide to use it on my face again, I will only add one teaspoon and mix it with another powder.
The powder does color after all, turning the bathroom red and giving a reddish shade to dark hair. Perhaps there is some herb for a cherry hue?
