  • Dyeing your hair without causing damage to its structure is easy with the natural Indian basma from the Triuga brand. It allows you to color your hair black while significantly improving its condition. Basma has been known since ancient times and was widely used in ancient civilizations for coloring hair, eyelashes, and eyebrows. Like henna, it is derived from powdered plant leaves, but not from Lawsonia, rather from indigo. Its composition is enriched with vitamins and biologically active substances that nourish the scalp, strengthen strands, and give them a healthy shine.

    Features of Ayurvedic Basma from Triuga:

    - 100% natural;
    - gives hair a rich black color;
    - offers excellent durability;
    - strengthens hair follicles;
    - stimulates active hair growth;
    - positively affects the scalp;
    - prevents dandruff;
    - makes strands shiny;
    - suitable for all hair types.

  • To dye hair in dark shades, mix henna with indigo powder and add water (at least 80°C), stirring until it reaches the consistency of sour cream. Apply the slightly cooled mixture to dry, clean hair and cover with a warming cap. Adjust the ratio of henna to indigo powder based on the desired color. The dyeing time ranges from 30 minutes to 2 hours. After dyeing, rinse the hair with water without using shampoo. The final color develops within 24 hours. It is not recommended to dye light hair without using henna.

    There are two methods for combining henna and indigo powder: separate and simultaneous application.

    For separate dyeing, first dye the hair with henna as described above, then apply indigo powder. Prepare the indigo powder in the same way as henna, just before coloring, but the mixture should be slightly thinner. After the application time, rinse the hair with warm water.

    The application time depends on the desired shade, on average:

    - 15-20 minutes for a light brown shade;

    - 1-1.5 hours for a chestnut shade;

    - 2-3 hours for an intense black color.

    For simultaneous dyeing, measure the required amount of henna and indigo powder (50-200g in total, depending on hair length) into a container, add boiling water, and mix until a uniform paste with the consistency of thick sour cream is formed. Use a specific ratio of henna to indigo powder to achieve the desired hair shade.

    To achieve:

    - a light brown tone: use 1 part henna to 1 part indigo powder; application time - 30 minutes;

    - a light chestnut tone: use 1 part henna to 1 part indigo powder; application time - 1 hour;

    - a chestnut tone: use 1 part henna to 2 parts indigo powder; application time - 1.5 hours;

    - a bronze tone: use 2 parts henna to 1 part indigo powder; application time - 1.5 hours;

    - a black color: use 1 part henna to 3 parts indigo powder; application time - 4 hours.

    When dyeing hair with indigo powder, avoid washing the hair with shampoo or any alkaline products for at least three days after coloring.

    If the hair turns out darker than desired after using indigo powder, it can be rinsed with water acidified with vinegar or lemon juice.

    The Triuga henna worked well for me. It doesn’t cause any irritation and has a nice, smooth texture. It colors hair effectively. I mix it with henna to achieve a chestnut color, and it covers gray hair well.

    I tried out this henna for testing purposes on my strands, as I needed it for work. The results were excellent. After applying the henna three times with an hour of exposure each time, my dyed strands transformed from a 4/5 shade to a 33/0 shade with a noticeable rich charcoal undertone.

    I have bought this hair dye before. In my opinion, it is of good quality. However, I was surprised to find only 3 packets in the box instead of 4. I wonder why. It's a mystery. I checked everything at the store (without opening the box with the dye), but when I got home and opened it, there was a shortage. Next time, I will double-check everything. It's a small issue, but still unpleasant.

    I really like this henna and indigo mix as it gives a beautiful shade. The only drawback is that it stains clothes, pillowcases, etc. after dyeing my hair. If anyone has experienced this problem, please share how you deal with it. Maybe there's something you add to the dye because the clothes turn blue, especially noticeable on light-colored clothing. Thank you Makeup for the fast delivery, you're the best.

    This company produces excellent henna and basma. They are very easy to rinse out and do not leave any grass or large particles behind. They simply wash off the skin and do not heavily stain the scalp. The hair appears shiny after use. I highly recommend them.

    Ladies, stop torturing your hair with chemical dyes. The most expensive and heavily advertised hair dye will not preserve the natural beauty of your locks. But I have managed to preserve mine thanks to henna and indigo. My hair is alive, shiny, and needs to be dyed (if there are grays) like blondes - every 1.5 months (until the grays grow out). And if there are no grays, then even less frequently. I am satisfied with the result. In another six months, I will cut off the damaged strands from regular dyes, and I will have beautiful hair with golden highlights (what should have been gray).
