This shampoo effectively cleanses and removes oils and dirt from the hair, so using a conditioner afterwards is definitely necessary. I didn't like the scent compared to lavender soap, so I won't be repeating the use of this shampoo.
I purchased this product 1.5 months ago. The smell is too intense and irritating, unpleasant. Some people can tolerate it, but it makes me feel nauseous. On the positive side, the smell doesn't linger on the hair. However, in terms of negative aspects, this soap bar makes everything smell! It's the soap itself that has the scent. If you leave it open in the bathroom, you won't need an air freshener or fragrance after using the toilet. And it's not just that the smell is unpleasant, it's truly repulsive. It doesn't even resemble the scent of melissa, it smells like this repulsive herbal odor. Herbs should smell good, but this one doesn't. And it gets worse. I bought the shampoo as a travel item. All my belongings in the travel bag ended up smelling like it (before the trip, I tried it at home once and it made the whole bathroom smell, so I wrapped the soap in an airtight bag, but it seems there was a hole in the bag and the shampoo soap made everything in the bag smell like it. When I took my things out of the bag, they smelled like this overpowering, herbal, unpleasant odor). On the positive side, after 5 days from the trip, the smell disappeared from the clothes. To prevent the bathroom smell, I wrapped the shampoo in two bags, and I packed it the same way for the trip, so only my cosmetics smelled. On the positive side, the smell of the small piece of shampoo is less intense (but very recently I had to bring it with me to my grandfather's and it still smelled and made everything smell just as intensely as before). The shampoo foams well. Rinses well. But I have oily hair, so with this shampoo, my hair quickly becomes greasy.

I know that natural products take some time for the scalp to adjust, but with this shampoo, the itching gets worse with each wash. Neither I nor my husband are allergic to any of the ingredients. Therefore, I do not recommend this shampoo.
