I bought some alginate masks to use at home during quarantine. I tried this one first and really liked the result. However, I applied a serum with vitamin C underneath, as advised somewhere. Even after removing the mask, my skin was amazing - smooth, hydrated, and the effect lasted until the next day. And that's coming from someone who is not skilled in applying masks. I'm sure if you're more careful and quicker, it will be even better.

The vitamin C product doesn't seem to mix well, and I haven't really noticed any noticeable effects.

I have experience making masks and have ordered several types of Joko Blend with hyaluronic acid, which have been a great find. I had no problems mixing them. However, the detox mask disappointed me, especially since I bought a large packet and end up throwing away a portion every time. It just didn't work for me. I'll try mixing it with regular clay.

Maybe I didn't understand this mask, but the effect was like a regular face wash, plus after using it, my skin was covered in bumps, as if from pimples. It's as if the fine hairs on my skin were plucked out and it became swollen in those areas. Overall, it didn't leave any impression on me.

There is no noticeable smell, or rather it is very subtle, probably the scent of seaweed. The effect is excellent - I really liked it. It eliminates oily shine, and even after removing the mask, I don't have to worry about my skin getting oily for about 10 hours. My skin looks younger and well-rested. But what attracts me the most is the brightening effect. After several uses, the pigmentation on my face became less noticeable, and my complexion became more even, which is a huge plus. I don't know if it has a cumulative effect, but if you need to quickly get yourself ready for a special event, there is no better product. I personally use it three times a week, and I adore how my complexion looks now.
