Shake well before use. Apply a small amount of the cleansing oil to dry facial skin. Massage gently for a few minutes to allow the oil to effectively dissolve oils, makeup, and impurities. Wet your hands with water and massage your face again, transforming the oil into an emulsion. Rinse off with running water.
The first time I bought it, everything was great—it removed makeup effectively without drying or causing irritation. The second time, it arrived very watery, as if it had been diluted, so now I need to use more of the product to remove my makeup.
I've been using this skincare line for a few months and wanted to share my thoughts. First of all, the advertising is everywhere and very enticing, which is why I decided to try a set for dry and sensitive skin: it includes a cleansing oil, foam, serum, ubtan, and some kind of cloth. Let's just say the cloth is useless—I use it for dusting around the house. The cleansing oil seems to remove makeup well, but I've developed peeling on one eye that stings and won't go away. I use a trusted concealer and this cleansing oil on my eyes, and the peeling persists.
I don't see any effect from this skincare line. After reading reviews, I expected my skin to become a bit better and softer, but in reality—it's a complete zero. Therefore, I don't recommend buying into heavily advertised products. It's better to visit a cosmetologist-dermatologist for a personalized skincare routine. It was a waste of money
I really liked the hydrophilic oil—it effectively removes even long-lasting makeup, cleanses and moisturizes the skin, leaving it smooth and fresh. It rinses off easily with foam from the same brand. I didn't experience any irritation or breakouts.
The product is awesome!
I've been using this cleansing oil for two years now, and I don't understand the negative reviews. People just don't seem to grasp the purpose of cleansing oil. This product removes makeup perfectly, even long-lasting lipstick disappears in seconds with just a small drop. The key is to apply it to dry skin with dry hands. While it might feel like it doesn't rinse off completely, washing your face once is usually enough. I never wash my face a second time, and I've never experienced any breakouts or subdermal issues. Remember, maintaining a healthy diet and considering your other skincare products and hormonal cycles is important.
I decided to try a cleansing oil because I have oily skin. After the first use, my face was less oily and looked more radiant in the morning. I used a foam cleanser from the same brand, so there were no issues with rinsing off the oil. I also looked up how to use it properly. I'm very pleased with the product.
The so-called cleansing oil is really disappointing. I've tried different brands across various price ranges. After reading reviews here, I decided to test it myself. I thought it would be hard to mess up a product like this—it’s just oil with fragrances, after all. But somehow this brand managed to do it.
The consistency is like water, running right through your fingers, so you have to apply it in small amounts. It doesn’t even handle basic foundation, let alone eye makeup. Even when I avoided using it around my eyes, it still stung horribly, making it impossible to wash my face comfortably. It doesn’t rinse off properly, and after cleansing with foam and gel, I still felt greasy.
I ended up throwing it away. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
I ordered through my mom, and here's what I can say about the Hillary brand. This skincare line is overpriced, and the only worthwhile product is the ubtan. The serums always make me want to wash them off immediately, and the cleansing oil doesn't change at all when it comes into contact with water. It removes makeup, but I need to use a foaming cleanser twice to fully wash off the oil. Plus, after incorporating it into my skincare routine, I've developed a lot of under-the-skin blemishes. I do not recommend it.
The only positive is the fragrance. The oil feels like it seals in the makeup, and no matter how much you rub, it just doesn't come off! The cleansing oil doesn't foam and is very difficult to rinse off. It takes two rounds with a foaming cleanser to remove it completely. A waste of money.
This is a typical cleansing oil. It applies easily and emulsifies well, but it's somewhat difficult to rinse off, which is common for cleansing oils. You definitely need an additional cleanser to completely remove it from your face. On the plus side, it doesn't cause any skin irritation, doesn't clog pores, effectively dissolves makeup, and has a pleasant scent. However, it stings if it gets into your eyes, so I'm deducting a star for that.
