I use sheet masks on my "skincare rest day" once a week. In the morning, I wash my face with water, then use toner, and then apply the mask. In the evening, I cleanse with water, use toner, and apply the essence from the same mask.
So far, this is the first mask (hopefully not the last) that has provided adequate nourishment and hydration, so my hands don't reach for emulsion/cream.
Today, I noticed a blackhead within seconds of applying the mask, and after 5 minutes, my face felt swollen, as if I had been stung by bees. These reactions are quite rare for me, as I don't have any skin problems like acne or pimples. Just a couple of closed comedones that have been with me for years.
