I accidentally ordered the Dark Brown pencil, though I usually use the Light Brown. What a hassle it was! It crumbles easily, and I tried all the tips and tricks to make it work. It's a disaster, and I see other reviews mentioning that it doesn't sharpen well for them either. It’s terrible! I can't say the same about the Light Brown version, though. I still don’t understand what the difference is. Take note!
