Those with thin, weakened nails have long appreciated the benefits of gel polish or nail extensions. However, the choice of materials used by the professional is of special importance. For those looking to significantly strengthen and fortify the nail plate, the French base coat Avenir Cosmetics X- Hard Rubber Base is an excellent choice.
Its distinctive feature is its good thickness and self-leveling ability. The applied product adheres excellently to the natural nail and does not require complete removal when the manicure is corrected. The base is not suitable for extensions but can be easily adjusted using a drill and sanding tools. It can be used either under colored pigment or on its own, simply to strengthen natural nails.
How to use: Polymerization: 30 seconds (LED, hybrid), 120 seconds (UV). Removal (solubility) depends on the nail characteristics and the duration of wear. On porous, rough nails, adhesion to the nail plate is maximal. As the wearing period increases (from 1 week and more), the solubility of the base coat decreases.
It is recommended to remove it mechanically using a nail drill. When removing with a liquid remover, leave it on the nail plate for up to 20 minutes, then clean or file away the residues. This method is not recommended as it can damage the nail plate.

This product is thick and it's impossible to work with. Also, the manicure only lasted for three days, so I don't recommend it. Everything fell off, even though it claimed to last 25-28 days on the Kira base without chipping.
The foundation is rated 5 out of 10. It is stiff and has a consistency that is more liquidy, making it difficult to dispense from the bottle with a thin thread. It is manageable to work with, but it would be better to pay extra and buy a higher quality and more convenient one.
Top-notch base! It works well with delicate nails and provides long-lasting strengthening.
It is easy to apply and blends well. Working with it is effortless.
I'm not sure what the issue could be, but the base turned out to be very liquid and runny, making it impossible to do a smooth application. I read other reviews mentioning its thickness and I'm amazed because it feels like we bought different products (although the bottle looks the same as in the picture). Additionally, it's not completely transparent, but has a slight greenish or yellowish tint, which makes nails visually appear "sick" (although I apply color afterwards). For this, I deduct one star. However, the base is strong, even though the nails are thin, it lasts well and doesn't chip off. I haven't noticed any other drawbacks.
The primer is amazing, very thick indeed. It was my first time using such a product, but everything turned out great. I didn't even know that primers like this existed. After using this one, the others seem like water in comparison.
This is a great product that dries excellently. It completely satisfies me. The nail polish lasts quite a long time. I'm not sure what the secret is. I apply it thinly, as much as possible. Before that, I buff my nails. Then I clean them with a nail dehydrator and use the ultra-bond (also from this brand).
Terrible base. Bubbles appeared on the second day, and after a few days, the polish started peeling off. I used Canni before, and this never happened.
I bought this base back in March and really liked its consistency. As a beginner self-taught person, it was very convenient for me to work with. However, at first, I didn't pay much attention to it. After applying it, my cuticles would itch, but it would go away the next day. Eventually, after using it 3-4 times, my fingers turned red immediately a couple of hours later, and I experienced terrible itching. I had to remove it and take antihistamines and apply ointment. In short, it didn't suit me and caused an allergic reaction.
And YES, my nails also lifted with this base. But I blamed the lamp, thinking it was weak and not drying properly. However, it turns out I'm not the only one with this problem.
I liked the foundation - it has a dense texture and doesn't spread unevenly. I didn't experience any issues with it :)
I figured out what the problem was! The base didn't work for me! My nails got swollen! Here's a photo taken on the second day after the manicure! I don't recommend it!
The foundation is great, it spreads evenly and doesn't leak.
The base is excellent, thick, and effectively conceals any unevenness on the nail surface.
The foundation worked well for me. I cured it under a lamp for a minute and it had a great consistency, not runny at all. It slightly oxidized but not too much.
This is something that has never happened before! The maximum duration I have worn gel polish with this base coat is two weeks, and even then I had to redo certain nails. After just a few days, the edges start peeling off, specifically with the base coat. Although the consistency is not bad and it doesn't flood or level out, making it easy to work with, I have given it four chances, but unfortunately, I do not recommend it.
I can't understand what caused the unsuccessful manicure, but I used the GGA PROFESSIONAL ULTRABOND 15ML acid-free primer and this base, and I did everything correctly. However, a liquid layer appeared on half of my nails! It started to swell, and within less than a day, all my nails became swollen. As a result, the manicure lasted only 3 days before starting to peel off. This base, just like the top coat from the same brand, did not perform well.
The base is excellent, it does not leak, it is easy to apply, dries well, and does not cause any peeling.
Doesn't seep under the cuticle, making it easier to remove with a file, as I'm not afraid of accidentally filing it. It holds up pretty well. I've been wearing it for a second week now.
Great base, not thick, not liquid. All my polishes apply smoothly on it, no conflicts.
Medium-density base. Suitable for alignment.
