I had high hopes for this serum, but unfortunately, it did not work for me. After starting to use it, I began experiencing painful breakouts. I thought it might be a purging period, but the breakouts didn't stop at all. As a result, I had to remove it from my skincare routine. I am currently treating post-acne and the remaining marks from those breakouts. It seems that everyone's experience with this product is highly individual.
The formula is oily, which makes it easier to apply the serum, as I have dry skin. The downside is its unpleasant smell. I recommend gradually incorporating it into your skincare routine and consulting with a doctor, as it contains many active ingredients.
The serum has an oily base! We used it in the evening, my teenage son had breakouts and they became less noticeable! We will continue using it!
On one cheek, almost all the comedones disappeared. It's just a miracle! The skin is smooth. But on the other cheek, there are still some that just won't go away. New ones keep appearing. I hope that they are coming out from deep within and will eventually vanish.
I have ordered it twice already, and it is an amazing serum. It effectively clears up my mild breakouts and acne marks. In the morning, my skin looks healthy and has a radiant glow thanks to this serum.
The product was a perfect fit for me.
Initially, I started experiencing acne that I had never had before. After that, there were stubborn marks that have not faded for about two weeks now. And now, there are numerous closed comedones in areas where they have never appeared before. I'm unsure whether to continue using this product as a part of the cleansing process or if it's better to stop to avoid further damage to my skin...
The serum works, but don't expect miracles. I only use it in the evening, but every day. It controls the number of breakouts, and if a couple of pimples do appear, don't touch them, just apply the serum at least 2-3 times a day, and they will disappear in a couple of days. I have some post-acne spots and slightly enlarged pores on my face, and there has been no change with them. I definitely recommend this serum as "emergency aid" for breakouts. Personally, La Roche Posay Effaclar serum is more effective for me, but it is twice as expensive. So, decide for yourselves.
I have problematic skin, with occasional acne and post-acne issues. I bought this product specifically to lighten them. After using it for two weeks, I haven't seen any noticeable results yet. However, it seems like there are fewer breakouts.
This product did not work for my combination skin, I used it regularly for 2 months. It caused a lot of comedones (even in areas where I didn't have them before). I followed a basic skincare routine (cleansing oil, foam cleanser, serum, and moisturizer). I was expecting it to help with cleansing, but it only made things worse. I do not recommend it.
I have been using this serum for a short time, but the effect is great when used together with the azelaic acid (from the same product line). It helps to unclog closed comedones, and acne breakouts and post-acne marks also lighten. The scent, to be honest, is terrible, like some bitter herbs, but what can you do for the sake of clean and well-groomed skin?
The serum delivers on its promise of brightening post-acne marks, which is exactly what I was expecting.
This serum is incredible, I am crazy about it. The skin is exquisite, soft and clear, even the subcutaneous fat deposits have diminished. The skin looks much better, I highly recommend it.
This is the best thing that has happened to me (in 5 years) in terms of acne. Now my skin is smooth, has an even tone, and even deep wrinkles have become barely noticeable. Post-acne marks are getting lighter, and this is noticeable day by day. But the most important thing is that I have gotten rid of inflammatory painful elements. Of course, I will continue my search for a solution, but I feel better mentally. It's incredible how one product can save a person's skin and psychological well-being.
The smell is not great, based on the reviews I expected it to be a stinky bomb, but it turned out not so bad. It reminds me of some bitter herbs. I have been using it for 1.5 months and my skin has actually become cleaner, it doesn't break out as much during PMS. It's effective for me.
It didn't work for me, I used it regularly for over a month. I have combination skin with enlarged pores and acne issues. Many people have already mentioned the smell, there's nothing more to add. In terms of effectiveness, it is aggressive, and currently my skin looks much worse than before using it. I have numerous inflamed subcutaneous pimples, dryness, and flakiness, but at the same time, my skin gets even oilier. Despite moisturizing, using toner, and SPF, be careful girls: if you notice new inflammations and breakouts in areas where you never had them or had them a very long time ago, it is an allergic reaction to the product, not face cleansing.
Unfortunately, the serum did not work at all. I used it together with the brand's tonic for 2 months, but no miracles happened. There was no effect whatsoever. Initially, I had more breakouts and pimples, then it reduced slightly, but overall, there was no effect. Personally, I found the smell of it very annoying to use, I don't want to smell like tar soap. In my opinion, it is better to spot treat pimples with an inexpensive levomycetin alcohol, which costs around 20 UAH, and the effect is much better.
I have been using this serum for almost two weeks now and I am very satisfied with the results. My skin feels soft to the touch and the tone has truly become more even. It also helps lighten post-acne marks. The scent is indeed unique, but it doesn't bother me. I use it every night and then follow up with a moisturizer. I am happy with it.
This product has a strong, unpleasant odor reminiscent of cigarettes. However, when used, it is pleasant and effective! It leaves a slightly damp and sometimes sticky effect.
Girls, this product is a gem. However, don't expect immediate results. In the first two weeks, it may cause breakouts as it purges all impurities from within. Therefore, it would be beneficial to have a facial treatment by a cosmetologist before using it. I have been using it for two months now, and the painful pimples have disappeared, and my acne has reduced.
I recently purchased a serum and I will talk about the results later, but the ingredients are very good. It's truly a great product for problem skin. It's a bit oily, but the shine disappears within 5 minutes. The only thing I didn't like is the smell, it's very specific. It reminds me of tar or some kind of wood scent. However, it seems to fade away after 30-40 minutes.
