I was surprised that it effectively removes makeup, I apply it on a round sponge for washing and it lathers well, it even removes mascara! I have been using it for 2 days and so far I haven't noticed any drawbacks. Compared to the Bioaqua foam cleanser, it is better. The foam cleanser left my face feeling tight and uncomfortable, it was itchy and unpleasant.
