I've been using this shampoo for three months. I chose it after drying out my scalp with solid shampoos—I wanted to save the planet from plastic, but ended up having to save my skin instead! After this failed experiment (I tried three different kinds, what a disaster), I noticed that even the shampoos that used to work well for me started causing severe dryness and flakiness on my scalp. I'd never experienced anything like this before; no dandruff or anything similar, so I wasn't familiar with this brand. I tried it by chance at a friend's place; it was in a blue bottle. After washing, I noticed that my skin didn't feel tight and the comfort was a huge relief. So I went to Makeup to order it for myself. I chose this type based on reviews, as people said it moisturizes the skin, and it truly does. The shampoo is excellent, and my problem disappeared immediately. I felt comfortable, the flakiness went away, and I even noticed that my hair started falling out less and became much healthier.
In short, folks, please buy this shampoo so they don't stop making it! :)
Regarding the scent, there's a hint of ginger with something else, but it's not irritating, washes out easily, and doesn't leave a fragrance on the hair. It lathers well, cleans thoroughly, is clear and thick. My husband likes it too. Overall, it's fantastic and the price is great!
The product is decent for dandruff, but it didn't suit my hair type.
After the first use, dandruff was reduced by 98% and the itchiness by about 80%. After the second use, the dandruff was completely gone, and the itchiness was mostly alleviated. My scalp is now clean, and I can go longer between hair washes. I deducted a star because the product noticeably fades hair color and doesn't moisturize very well, though it doesn't dry out the hair either. It's thick and transparent, and I don't like the smell, but the conditioner I use masks it effectively.
Hello! I first tried Clear shampoos back in 2015 when they were recommended by a male stylist at a beauty salon. Both my husband and I were dealing with severe dandruff, and our scalps were constantly itchy. We used the shampoo for about four years. Eventually, I developed a reaction that caused a burning sensation in my eyes. My husband switched to Old Spice, while I discovered the Detox line for myself. Last year, I bought three versions: the daily use, moisturizing, and growth-promoting shampoos. I combined them with different conditioners, including an Italian one and two from Garnier. My hair is porous and curly. I also use magnesium oil from Bishop on top. Overall, this was my fantastic hair care routine. Thank you so much, Clear and Makeup!
I've been using it for many years. It's indispensable!
I received this shampoo as a gift when I was buying shampoos for my husband. It was my first time trying this brand. Fortunately, I don't have dandruff, so I can't comment on that aspect. The shampoo is very thick, so you need to mix it with water before applying it to your hair. It doesn't wash out completely squeaky clean, but it doesn't dry out my hair either. I use it without conditioner or a mask, just applying serum to damp hair. Overall, it's a decent shampoo, but not for frequent use. I deducted a star because it makes my hair very static.
After my experience with a shampoo that didn't suit me at all, I had to quickly address the dandruff issue it caused. I decided to try this shampoo, and now I can't stop using it! I really like it and regularly buy this brand. For anyone looking to get rid of annoying dandruff quickly, easily, and without spending too much, I highly recommend it.
Terrible.
I used two bottles of this shampoo, which is a first for me! I really liked it. My hair feels clean, shiny, dandruff-free, and it even adds a bit of volume (my hair is thin).
The shampoo is good, has a pleasant scent, and lathers well, but unfortunately, it didn't work for me.
The shampoo is excellent and matches the description. It's a great find for the summer. I didn't buy it here, but I'll purchase it again.
I've tried all the shampoos from this brand, and they all made my hair feel greasy and unwashed right after using them—except for this one. The Detox shampoo is perfect for me. It doesn't dry out my scalp, I've forgotten about dandruff, and my hair feels incredibly soft.
This shampoo leaves your hair feeling like it hasn't been washed for a week. It's unclear why this product was even released, as most people who buy it don't even finish using the first bottle.
I don't understand why so many people gave it a low rating. The shampoo is wonderful and works well for those who occasionally experience dandruff in certain areas. If you're dealing with more severe dandruff, like "snow falling on your shoulders," you should consider a professional treatment.
I didn't buy it here. I started getting dandruff, which I never had before, and there was a lot of hair left on the brush after using it. I'm sure it's because of this shampoo, as I didn't have these issues with my previous one. The only positive is that my hair feels silky and is easy to comb without conditioner. I give it a 3 for easy combing.
Terrible shampoo. My hair feels greasy again right after washing. It didn't work for me at all.
The shampoo didn’t work for me. My hair gets greasy very quickly. I wash it in the morning, and by the evening, it's already oily.
Bad shampoo. I didn't like the smell; it was too chemical. I bought it hoping to get rid of dandruff. After the first use, it seemed to help a little, as there was slightly less dandruff, but my roots became greasier. After the second use, I ended up with even more dandruff than before. Overall, the shampoo went straight to the trash.
This shampoo has a pleasant scent and is economical to use. After washing, there's no dandruff or itching.
The shampoo has a pleasant scent, but it didn't work for me and actually increased my dandruff.
