The fragrance is very pleasant, but quite expensive. By the way, it complements the perfume nicely.

Overall, the oil is not bad: it absorbs relatively quickly and is easy to apply. On a short beard, the shine after application is hardly noticeable, but it can be easily resolved with a paper towel. My main complaint is about the scent. I couldn't detect any whiskey or tobacco in it, as the manufacturer's representative claimed. It is more like cherry compote, as someone else mentioned. The scent is quite sweet, which is unusual for men's cosmetics. I haven't evaluated its effect on beard growth yet.

I tried the Barbados Benito de Soto complex for the first time and it turned out to be an amazing mix. Unlike the balm, I use the oil after taking a hot shower, at night (about 1-2 hours before bed, so as not to stain the pillow). It absorbs completely in about 5-10 minutes. The tobacco+whiskey scent is fantastic and definitely masculine, probably for men aged 21 and older. After a month of using it in combination with the balm, my beard has become much softer and its appearance has improved (my wife noticed), and there is no more flaking on my cheeks. I am definitely satisfied with the results.
The scent of this product is truly a delightful experience. I would love to have a perfume with the same fragrance as an alternative. It would be great if they also created a small line of men's fragrance for Barbados.

The effect is noticeable after a day of use: the hair becomes softer and more manageable, the skin flakes less, and after two to three days, irritation disappears, which is especially relevant during hot weather. The scent of the oil is long-lasting and holds the main note well, but caution is needed when applying it, as the perfume composition of the oil can easily overpower your main fragrance of toilet water or perfume. As for the fragrance itself, there is definitely something reminiscent of tobacco and whiskey, but it is quite subtle. This is subjective, and the scent is more pleasant than otherwise, but excessive application can "get on your nerves" both for the bearded wearer and those around them. However, all of this is individual and the oil is definitely recommended for purchase and use.
