It is distinguished by a cosmetic formula based on the ancient tradition of using birch tar in combination with zinc for various therapeutic purposes. I ordered from the EU with high hopes. Unfortunately, the product did not help my son with his dandruff; in fact, it made it worse. However, the tonic that I ordered along with it is excellent.
I'm at a loss for what to use to treat my seborrheic dermatitis. I've tried Nizoral and Vichy as recommended by a dermatologist, but there hasn't been any improvement. Unfortunately, this shampoo was no different and didn't work for me :(((
You haven't smelled real tar before. This shampoo is perfect! I have psoriasis (even worse than dandruff) and no remedy, including tar-based ones, has helped me except for this shampoo.
As a bonus, after a couple of years of using it, my hair has become much thicker and stronger.
However, for some reason, it's currently unavailable everywhere. I hope it will be back in stock soon.
The product effectively eliminates dandruff, but unfortunately, it has a terrible smell! However, considering the price, it is tolerable. I recommend it.

I don't know why or how it didn't work, but after trying various anti-dandruff shampoos - Head & Shoulders, Pantene, and others - none of them helped. I tried Nizoral (it was heavily advertised) - but the price was high for just a small bottle. Then I accidentally stumbled upon this miracle. Words cannot express it. It helped and continues to help. The smell initially resembled the odor of a car engine after prolonged use. But those were just first impressions. It quickly dissipates, and the shampoo itself does an excellent job with its main task.
The shampoo has a very unpleasant smell. And no conditioner or mask can mask this odor. Even after washing with another shampoo, this smell still remains.
The shampoo is designed for naturally stiff hair, not hair burned by dye. My husband has stiff hair and dandruff - it looks great after washing. I have blond hair - it looks like a dandelion after washing. So if it suits you, the shampoo is excellent regardless of the smell of ichthyol ointment. It quickly dissipates.
The shampoo is great for oily hair. It eliminates itchiness and effectively cleanses the scalp from dandruff. The scent is not that great, but it doesn't linger on the hair after washing. You can apply a conditioner along the length of your hair, and it will leave them smelling fantastic.
You need to get used to the smell, that's for sure))) but it cleanses the hair well. However, it didn't deliver the promised relief from dandruff.
The shampoo cleanses the hair well, but the scent... It gave me a headache, actually. I don't know... I won't be using it again because the smell lingers for quite a while, both on the hair and in the bathroom (my mom practically flew out of there).

The smell, of course, is terrible. However, I still use it constantly because only this shampoo noticeably cleanses my quickly greasy hair.
