Yes, there is a scent of PVA glue, and I agree with the previous comment. As someone who has been wearing false eyelashes for 13 years, I can say that this glue's longevity is nonexistent. If you only need it for one evening, that's okay, but if you need it for longer, you'll have to reapply it every day. It doesn't pull off the lashes (that's a plus), but initially, it's white and then becomes transparent as it dries.
Wonderful adhesive, great packaging, convenient brush, excellent for sticking eyelashes, did not cause any allergies. Highly recommend.
