At first, I wasn't thrilled with this gel. It's quite specific. For instance, it has a strange smell and leaves a tight sensation on oily skin after application. I wouldn't recommend using it on excessively dry areas. However, when I had a crazy allergic reaction, surprisingly, this gel reduced 70% of the inflammation on my face within 3 hours. I was definitely impressed. It also does a good job of mattifying oily skin. I can recommend applying a serum or oil in the morning after cleansing your face, and then applying the gel after about 20 minutes. This way, you won't feel any tightness, and it will mattify your skin practically until the evening.
I apply the Styx moor gel cream beneath my regular cream.
This gel is amazing. I use it on my face, which is why I bought it in the first place. It doesn't provide a lot of moisture, but it gets rid of pimples and irritation overnight. It evens out my skin tone and prevents it from getting oily throughout the day. It doesn't cause any allergies or clog pores, which is a problem I often have with other products. However, it might not be suitable for dry skin. For everyone else, I think it's a real find. I was pleasantly surprised to discover a holy grail product for myself.
