In the last year or two, the manufacturer has changed the product's formula: the granules have become smaller, which allows them to dissolve better in water. They have also started adding more pigment and flavoring. The dye gives the water a tint - some people may find this important, as it does not stain the bathtub. However, the scent is intense, almost overpowering. I personally prefer it when the fragrance and color were lighter.
The smell of salt is simply incredible. I ordered it as a gift, and I will definitely continue to order it for myself.
