I purchased this shampoo elsewhere, but I decided to leave a review because I don't understand why people say it doesn't lather well. It actually foams up really nicely. You just need to make sure your hair is well wet or, as recommended, lather it a bit in your hands. This shampoo is excellent. I bought it because I really love the CHI Argan series. I will definitely also get the conditioner while I finish using up the CHI shampoo.
I used the shampoo with conditioner. The shampoo doesn't lather well, and I don't like it when it doesn't lather at all because it's difficult to distribute it evenly on my head, especially on long hair. However, the effect after washing my hair is amazing. The hair becomes soft, straight, and shiny. I really, really liked it. The scent is pleasantly neutral, not sharp.
I bought this shampoo for my hair after a chemical perm, but despite being a good brand, it didn't have any effect. It doesn't lather well (even though it claims to be reparative with oils), maybe that's why. Right after applying and washing, my hair becomes stiff. Maybe it's not suitable for damaged hair? It's expensive and doesn't do anything else.
