Testing Methodology:
1. Determining the Test Date
The test can be used as early as the 4th day (10 mIU/mL) after potential conception or from the first day of a missed period. In most cases, the test provides an accurate result during this time. If you receive a negative result when pregnancy is expected or planned, it is advised to repeat the test after a few days, as HCG concentration can vary among women, or the date of the last menstrual period may have been calculated incorrectly.
2. Sample Collection.
Urine samples should be collected in a dry, clean container. The first morning urine usually contains the highest concentration of HCG and is therefore the best sample for testing. However, any urine sample can be used, regardless of the time of day.
3. Testing Procedure:
1. Allow the test strip pouch to reach room temperature if it has been exposed to extreme temperatures.
2. Tear open the foil pouch along the designated line and remove the test strip.
3. Holding the strip vertically, immerse it in the urine sample with the arrow pointing downwards until it reaches the marked line (refer to the diagram on the package).
Do not immerse the strip below the marked line.
4. After 10 seconds, remove the strip and place it on a flat, clean, dry, non-absorbent surface.
5. Wait for the colored lines to appear. Interpret the result within 3-5 minutes.
6. Any result interpreted after more than 5 minutes should be considered invalid or unreliable.
Result Interpretation:
Positive Result.
Two colored lines appear: one in the control area (C), and another in the test area (T). This indicates a probable pregnancy. The intensity of the test line may vary during different stages of pregnancy.
If the result is difficult or unclear to interpret, it is recommended to repeat the test at a later time.Negative Result.
A single colored line appears in the control area (C), with no line in the test area (T). This suggests a probable absence of pregnancy.Invalid Result
No visible lines appear, or only one line appears in the test area (T). In this case, the test should be repeated using a new test strip.
If the test line is faint, it is recommended to test again with the first morning urine sample after 48-72 hours.
