This is my first experience with alginate masks. I liked the effect, it refreshes, evens out the skin tone, and soothes minor inflammations. It gives a pleasant cooling sensation. I only needed one package for 3 uses, even though the instructions state it's for one application. I mixed it in a ratio of 1:2 (4 teaspoons of powder, 8 teaspoons of water) at room temperature. The consistency turned out to be thick like sour cream, which was comfortable to apply.
I have problematic skin and I have been treating it for 2 years. I ate some chips and had a breakout - of course, I blamed the chips. Since I bought this mask, I decided to apply it afterwards and oh, wow! My skin feels fresh, the redness from squeezing pimples is reduced, and no new acne has appeared.
