The platinum shade does an excellent job toning blonde hair, if desired. Overall, the quality of hair after using this mask is good, considering it's a tinted product.

I have been using Ducastel products for a long time and have always been satisfied with their shampoos and other hair care items. However, this toning mask is a bit of a letdown. I tried the pink one, and while it initially tones well, the effect only lasts for two washes. After the second wash, it's as if the toning never happened.

It dries out the hair. This product is a disappointment. The shade "Cold Brown" is not cold at all. In the photo, you can see the result after three applications, with this last one left on for 10 minutes, and yet my hair remained just as red. I expected it to neutralize the warm undertone of my dyed hair at least a little, but nothing happened; in fact, after the first use, it got worse and turned coppery. If you leave it on for 5 minutes as instructed, there is no effect whatsoever. After using it, a hair mask is essential, and you need to mix the product with a mask or conditioner; otherwise, it's nearly impossible to apply or prevent hair damage.

When you order this mask (I got the "Cold Brown" shade), make sure to buy some bathroom cleaner as well. The mask is heavily pigmented and stains everything it touches: tiles, walls, sinks, etc. It doesn't come off with just water. I had to spray my bathroom with everything I had to barely clean it off. Definitely wear gloves while applying it.

The mask has a medium consistency and a strong scent that lingers on the hair for 1-2 washes. It colors the hair immediately; I left it on for 5 minutes, but you could probably leave it for 10 minutes, as it starts drying after that, making it pointless to keep on longer. Regarding the color, it dyed my faded red hair evenly without any patches. The final color matched the bottle's shade, with a golden sheen, and my natural roots remained untouched (I forgot to take a photo).

It gradually washes out after 4-5 washes without leaving any spots. My hair didn't feel any better after using the mask, but it might be different for others.

I received the mask as a gift, so I won't be purchasing it again. Even regular hair dye is less trouble than this mask, and it's not worth the money. This is just my opinion regarding the dark brown shade; perhaps it works better for blondes.

I bought it in a peach shade to brighten up my hair color between dyeing sessions. I dye my hair with the same brand's ammonia-free dye on a 6% developer, in shades 9+9.3. I leave it on for the maximum recommended time, which is 5 minutes. The result is a very delicate and natural color, which fades after about 2-3 washes. The packaging will last me about 6 applications on my thin hair, reaching shoulder length.

In short, the Cold Brown shade of the mask does a good job. To explain further, I have naturally porous and curly hair that I bleached almost a year ago. Now, after cutting half of the length, I am trying to grow out my curls. I applied the mask to freshly washed, towel-dried hair, divided into sections (using my hands) only on the previously bleached length, which I toned with a 6m shade from Matrix Colorsync before. I left it on for 15-20 minutes. I must say, you need gloves or acetone because this stuff not only beautifully colors hair but also stains clothing. I rinsed it off for about 5 minutes, then blow-dried and combed with heat protection. I recommend using a good leave-in treatment afterwards because the hair is not a disaster, but a bit dry (as with most toning products). For shoulder-length hair and medium thickness, I used 1/6 of the bottle. The shade does not turn green or red, it is just a regular natural, non-cool chestnut.

The shade Cold Brown didn't provide any coloring effect at all. The only thing is that it left my hair feeling soft. Additionally, it has a terrible smell that lingers on the hair for a long time.

It provides excellent toning, takes care of the hair, and smells fantastic. However, guys, the price you set for it is not quite reasonable.

The product is excellent for toning (I purchased the ROSE shade), but it needs to be diluted because the color is very intense on blond hair.

It doesn't dye at all, I took the beige shade, my already lightened hair with a hint of yellow. Just a shimmery mask. I can't imagine what kind of hair it can dye. Maybe dark hair works better and maybe it's worth trying on dry hair. But I definitely won't buy it again.
