This isn't a cream, it's a butter. Even though it's called a mask, don't wash it off! Apply it to clean skin instead of a cream. It's suitable for winter mornings and nights, and in the summer, only at night, because it's a nourishing butter. This is my favorite face butter from all the Adverso products because: 1) It's super natural with no chemicals, 2) It contains SEA BUCKTHORN OIL, which gives it a yellow color, 3) It has a light and unobtrusive scent since it doesn't have essential oils, unlike other products in the Adverso line. I give it the highest rating!!! PS: I think it's suitable for dry and combination skin, as it is a face butter, not a regular cream.
The product didn't make much sense to me.
I keep it in the refrigerator and use a spatula from my eye patches to take the mask out of the jar. I apply it at night. The instructions for using the mask are unclear, but I like the ingredients.
The texture is very rich and nourishing. I apply it and gently pat it in with a cotton pad. It seems to provide good nourishment. However, the downside is that it leaves an unpleasant feeling, like my eyes are sticky or something got into them, even when it doesn't actually get in my eyes. It's suitable for use on the face or lips as well. It's very nourishing, but it didn't work well for my under-eye area.
For me, it's perfect!!!! Ladies, it has a rich texture, but you need to apply it on a well-moisturized face!!! Then it's just amazing!!! A big thank you to the manufacturer!!!
I've been using the mask for a short time, so I can't say it works wonders yet. However, it definitely softens the skin well (I apply it at night around my eyes and on my lips). In winter, I really struggle with dryness, so this helps a lot.
The only downside is that it turns quite liquid on the skin, which can be a bit uncomfortable. But I haven't experienced any allergic reactions or discomfort from it personally.
I'm not sure if I'll repurchase it since I prefer avocado oil, but I have no real complaints about this product either.
I've been using this and other masks from Adverso for several years, but unfortunately, I've noticed a decline in quality. The mask now has a very soft consistency and turns into a liquid on the skin, with a bright orange color that wasn't there before. Additionally, its effectiveness has diminished. I've experienced puffiness around my eyes, irritation, and stinging. The seller needs to pay attention to these quality issues. Thank you.
I ordered this mask for the second time (the first was in February). Based on the expiration date and batch number, it seems to have been made around the same time as the previous one. However, for some reason, this time it's quite different from the last. This one is beige, as cocoa butter should be (the last one was yellow, probably due to a high amount of sea buckthorn oil); it melts faster, but after applying, there's a noticeable rose scent (which wasn't present last time), even though there's no such ingredient listed. Because of this, it feels more like a facial mask. I still like it, and my previous review remains relevant, but my trust in the manufacturer has been shaken.
I bought this mask after reading reviews and checking the ingredients, which seemed natural. Unfortunately, it didn’t work at all for the skin around my eyes (I'm 38 years old). The mask has an uncomfortable, hard texture that makes it impossible to apply without stretching the eyelids. I applied it overnight, and by morning, I had two creases—something that has only happened before with low-quality mass-market creams. I had to urgently repair the damage to my eyelids. I won't be using it on my eyelids again, but I'll occasionally use it on my face. I’ve tried that already, and it was okay. After 30 minutes, I dabbed the excess off with a tissue, and then I was ready to go to bed.
This mask is great for nourishing the skin. After a couple of weeks, it reduced my fine lines. I apply it at night like a cream, using a fairly thick layer.
This mask is decent for nourishment. It doesn't smooth out wrinkles, but it doesn't cause any allergic reactions either. I apply it all over my face at night and just wash it off with warm water in the morning. It's suitable for my dry skin. Thanks to the store for the prompt service.
It's a pity that I can't give half a star to this "wonder."
1. Shelf life of 5 years? How is that possible for a 100% natural product?
2. The packaging is poor. The jar lid is held with regular office tape. I'm not confident the threading is secure.
3. No instructions are provided. There's nothing on the box or as an insert. This product has a unique consistency (like solidified ghee) and purpose (such masks aren't common, so not everyone knows how to use them), so explanations are needed.
4. The product itself is unimpressive. You might as well use any vegetable oil for the same effect.
This mask is wonderful! It leaves my skin soft and nourished, with no allergic reactions. I'm really pleased with its natural ingredients—cocoa butter and sea buckthorn combined just as they should be. Personally, I've decided to apply it three times a week. I leave it on for 20-30 minutes before rinsing it off. Perhaps it could be left on longer, but I'm not sure. However, I can definitely say that the mask shouldn't completely replace a cream, so it's better to alternate between the two.
As for the large size of the product, there's an easy solution—share it! You can share it with your mom, a friend, or a colleague. It makes them happy, and the product won't go to waste. Plus, it's a great way to test the product on more people!
I really liked this face mask. I apply it at night not only around my eyes but on my entire face as well (since it's winter and I have oily skin). Before going to bed, I dab off any excess. I don’t rinse it off because I believe it's unnecessary, as this mask is essentially a blend of oils. So far, it hasn't caused any unpleasant sensations, swelling around the eyes, or allergies, and it hasn't worsened my skin condition—in fact, it might have improved it. I hope it offers some benefits for my skin, though I'm not expecting it to smooth out wrinkles.
What I didn't like is that the packaging states the product is good for only three months after opening. While the absence of preservatives is a plus, how can you use 30 ml just for the eye area in three months? Most of it would go to waste. So, if any company representatives are reading this review, it would be great if the product were available in smaller quantities. Consequently, the price would decrease, potentially increasing its demand.
I really liked it. The effects are noticeable; wrinkles, especially those from lack of sleep, are smoothed out and less visible. I use it just like a regular cream, in small amounts. If it feels too greasy, I simply blot it with a tissue after a while. The only thing is that the jar could be smaller, as I doubt anyone would want to use the same product for three years straight!
I really liked it! It provides excellent hydration.
I've been using the mask for almost a month now, applying it before bed, though I'm not sure if that's the right way to use it. I've noticed that my wrinkles have become less noticeable. I would also like to know the correct way to use it. If possible, please ask the manufacturer this question. Thank you in advance!
This is an excellent moisturizing mask, and you can see results after the first use. The formula is completely organic.
I have one question: Dear Makeup team, could you please clarify the application instructions with the manufacturer or supplier? Since this is a mask and not a cream, there should be some guidance on how long to leave it on (for example, 20 minutes) and how to rinse it off.
I apply the mask for 20 minutes and wash it off with warm water and/or toner/micellar water, but I'm not sure if that's the correct method.
