I used this gel a couple of years ago and recently purchased it again. The difference is enormous! The gel I used before kept my hair in place for a long time and did its job 200%. Even after applying it to my hair, I could feel the stickiness on my fingers. However, the gel I bought now doesn't fix anything at all. Absolutely nothing! I applied it to my hair and it felt like I didn't apply anything at all. Did the manufacturer reduce the amount of some ingredient in order to make the gel run out faster and make the consumer buy a new package, or did they forget to include the main ingredient that holds the hair in place? But, the same pleasant scent and convenient packaging that prevents the product from getting exposed to air and drying out.
I received this gel-pomade as a gift from my wife along with a 2-in-1 shampoo. Previously, I used Uppercut. This gel-pomade has additional advantages: convenient packaging (it doesn't get exposed to the air and dry out like the jar); longer-lasting hold (the hairstyle stays in place even after sleeping); it has a unique, fresh, and pleasant scent. It is easy to wash out, doesn't make the hair look greasy, and applies easily. For my stiff and unruly hair, this is more than an ideal option.
