The effect is instant! The skin feels extremely soft and velvety. I have a combination skin type. I applied a sufficient amount with gentle patting motions to my face. I really like it. My hands also became softer after applying it.
Overall, there's nothing special about it. It doesn't provide any moisturization or nourishment (my skin is combination and tends to get dry, especially in cold weather). The scent is average, and the texture is thick like water. Perhaps it would be suitable for someone with oily skin. I didn't purchase it here.
