To be honest, I was pleasantly impressed! The Beauty of Joseon Radiance Cleansing Balm dissolved and removed my makeup beautifully. It even removed the Essence mascara well, so I didn't have to wash it off separately like I do with the Round Lab hydrophilic oil. After cleansing with the balm, it doesn't clog my eyes (which is a huge plus) and doesn't leave a greasy film on my face. It feels like this cleansing is sufficient and I don't need a foaming cleanser (but I still use one as a second step cleanse). It cleanses my face wonderfully! Now I will definitely switch to this balm cleansing format. It is much more convenient compared to hydrophilic oils. With the hydrophilic oil, I always felt discomfort, even though the Round Lab oil was not bad. But it depends on personal preference. I have combination (dry in cold season) sensitive skin.
The makeup is easily removed and washes off quite well, but it is too greasy for my already oily skin. If you have oily skin, it is better to choose the CLINIQUE Take The Day Off balm instead.
I really liked it! The makeup washes off very nicely, and the mascara as well! After removing it, I don't feel any greasiness on my skin.

I didn't like it, I have used a balm from a different brand before and I have something to compare it to. The Joseon balm is very greasy, and even after washing my face with gel, it leaves an unpleasant feeling of oiliness on the skin, and I already have oily skin. I used it to remove sunscreen. On the positive side, it doesn't have a smell. In my opinion, it would be great for dry skin and also for those who wear makeup.
I bought this product based on the recommendation of a cosmetologist, and I am satisfied! I felt the effect of a two-step cleansing - a completely different feeling than just washing with a gel or foam. The product has a safe composition for acne-prone skin, it is non-comedogenic, and it works well! I highly recommend it!

I am very satisfied with this balm. I used to use hydrophilic oil, but decided to switch to this balm. It has no scent and cleanses makeup, SPF creams, and so on very well. It does not dry out the skin.
