I bought this oil at the pharmacy today because the Aromatika olive oil was out of stock. Initially, it didn't seem to have any color or smell. However, when I mixed it with melted cocoa butter, it developed the typical whitish flakes and greenish tint associated with genuine olive oil, indicating it's real but highly filtered. This was my first time making a cream with olive oil. Previously, I used cocoa butter with kumkumadi, calendula, and chamomile oils, and never saw such flakes or a greenish tint. I'm pleasantly surprised! Considering Flora Secret is much cheaper than Aromatika, it's a great find. I've always trusted Aromatika for cocoa butter, hoping for good quality, but today I tried Flora Secret and noticed their cocoa butter has a richer, more pleasant scent. The only advantage Aromatika has is its glass packaging, which is ideal. Since I now have plenty of containers for making creams, I can confidently switch to Flora Secret.
I use this for hair masks. Some oils make my hair fall out, but not this one. (I have naturally thin hair.) I only order it from here.
The oil is excellent! The delivery was quick and convenient. However, I was a bit disappointed because I placed my order and spoke with a manager over the phone, and the next day, all the oils I ordered were discounted by about 10 UAH. It’s a small amount, but the manager could have informed me about the promotion. Everyone talks about receiving gifts, but despite my orders, I have never received any.
I've been using this for my hands, and I have to say, the oil is pretty disappointing. It doesn't have the scent of olive oil, and there's little to no effect, although with long and frequent use, it does provide some minor moisturizing. Plus, the dispenser doesn't work.
This is an excellent nourishing and moisturizing facial oil. The key rule with oils is to apply them to a damp face. First, rub and warm the oil between your palms, then apply it. After about 20 minutes, gently blot away any excess oil with a paper towel to prevent clogged pores. The dispenser is very convenient, which is why I choose oils from this brand—their quality is outstanding!
