The BasicLab Dermocosmetics Esteticus face serum with 0.3% pure retinol, 3% vitamin C, and coenzyme Q10 for "Renewal and Stimulation" is a powerful and multifunctional product. It rejuvenates the epidermis, eliminates pigmentation spots, and tightens the facial contour. This serum aids in combating age-related changes, smoothing out wrinkles, and preventing their formation. It also minimizes pores and normalizes sebum production. As a result, the skin will be clear, free from pigmentation, and deep wrinkles.
Key Features of BasicLab Dermocosmetics Esteticus:
- 0.3% pure retinol initiates a long-term skin restoration process, thereby preventing the appearance of wrinkles;
- Vitamin A, or retinol, also exfoliates dead cells, promotes epidermal renewal, thereby evening out the skin tone;
- Vitamin C inhibits melanin synthesis, lightens pigmentation spots, and prevents sebum oxidation;
- Coenzyme Q10, in combination with vitamin E, provides a powerful antioxidant effect;
- Hydroxystearic acid enhances the action of retinol, protects the skin from pigmentation caused by UV rays;
- Ceramides strengthen the natural protective barrier, preventing excessive moisture loss;
- Hyaluronic acid in low and ultra-low molecular forms fills wrinkles from within, retaining moisture in the cells;
- Trehalose absorbs water and prevents its excessive release.-
Use retinol treatments during the fall and winter months, approximately from September to March/April. When incorporating retinol into your skincare routine, always use a high SPF50+ sunscreen during the day and avoid sun exposure. It's also important to remember that your skin will need extra hydration and regeneration while using retinol.
Start with a lower concentration of retinol, such as 0.3% or 0.5%, whether you are using it for the first time or resuming after a long break. Introduce retinol gradually by applying it every 4-5 evenings for the first two weeks. Every two weeks, decrease the interval between applications by one day. Apply retinol only once per day, during your evening skincare routine, on clean and dry skin, avoiding the eye area.
Initially, apply retinol yourself to monitor your skin's reaction. Eventually, about 30-40 minutes after applying retinol, you can use a hydrating and regenerating product, such as a ceramide serum or a lipid-rich winter cream.
During the first few weeks of use, you might experience redness, dryness, irritation, or peeling of the skin. These are signs that your skin is building tolerance to retinol.
When moving to a higher concentration, start from scratch, applying it every 4 days initially and gradually increasing the frequency over time.
You can use retinol year-round, but during the spring and summer months, switch to a lower concentration. If you plan to spend a lot of time in the sun, stop using retinol about 4 weeks in advance.
