Lalique Satine Eau de Parfum

I read reviews and I am amazed at how differently people perceive the same fragrance! If I had chosen this perfume based on reviews, I would have definitely doubted it. I have had it for seven years, maybe even more, and only half a bottle remains, so I immediately buy a duplicate! I have other perfumes, but I will never give up on this divine aroma! Where are the woody notes they talk about?! It is simply incomparable, delicate, beautiful, with a subtle hint of leather! This perfume is absolutely amazing!

The scent is interesting, long-lasting, and not overpowering. It's slightly sweet. Personally, I can smell the aroma of buckwheat porridge, a hint of almond, and something vanilla-like. It's slightly powdery, but not too much. I wish it was a bit more subtle and enveloping. However, overall, it's decent, especially for such an affordable price.

I am satisfied with everything, as the order arrived exactly as expected.

Someone wrote that the fragrance would be better named "Cashmere" - I agree 100%. It's very feminine and cozy, makes you want to wear cashmere or silk. You can even use it at home without being intrusive. It's feminine, creamy, and rich. It's long-lasting, but not overpowering. It's sweet, but not cloying. There are few woody notes, more like vanilla and pepper. It's perfect for late autumn and, yes, NOT for a very young girl.

On my wrist, I initially felt coffee with cinnamon and some herbs, then the herbs faded and a slightly bitter, dry vanilla emerged, with hints of flowers and woody notes. It's a refined, interesting fragrance that evolves, and I love that. I can only imagine how it will be once it settles. For those who love fresh aquatic scents, I suggest testing it first. I love sweet and mysterious fragrances, so it suits me well.

I can perceive notes of vanilla and smoky wood in it (that's how my nose detects sandalwood). It has an intriguing sound. It is not loud, and its sweetness is very subtle. It is indeed spicy, but the spiciness is quite delicate.

Then it transitions into a vanilla-sandalwood base, but without excessive sweetness. Everything is balanced and refined. However, this fragrance gives off a powerful note of buckwheat, and there's nothing I can do about it. It's like a silky-buckwheat perfume, but no less beautiful (Samsara also has a strong buckwheat note at the beginning, I can't even imagine what note creates this buckwheat scent).

Satin is incomparable, beautiful, sweet, and envelops with the most delicate vanilla sweetness, it's subtle with a touch of pepper and woody notes... I received the whole package, the perfume unfolds and plays with all the notes. The skin feels cool and dry. Satin and I are very comfortable together. Not suitable for summer? Oh, come on, if it's your thing, wear it in both winter and summer, just a spray on your hair - and you'll be beautiful!)))
