Fantastic scent! Elegant and intriguing - you won't come across it every other minute. It gathers compliments! The bottle itself is a separate pleasure!
This fragrance gathers compliments. Some "experts" claim it smells like Coca-Cola, but I don't think so. It's somewhat similar to Black XS for men, but softer. It has a spicy, warm, and slightly cherry-like scent. It lasts a long time on the skin and on scarves, it's everlasting.
I love wearing it in the rain, it doesn't feel as gloomy with it. For this price, it's like a niche fragrance, I must say.
The smell is surprisingly reminiscent of grandma's cologne. Thankfully, it is not long-lasting. Even in a confined space, the scent is barely noticeable, as if it was not directly applied to oneself. I simply don't understand where the positive reviews are coming from.
I am pleasantly surprised: the fragrance is fantastic! And I am very happy that I managed to buy it on sale.
Immediately, associations with Montale perfumes came to mind. The oriental sweetness (not referring to halva, of course) that is characteristic of this French niche makes a bold statement.
Yes, I agree with other reviewers, it's definitely a cherry scent, like cherry jam with jasmine petals floating in it. But it doesn't come across as "syrupy," it sounds noble.
And it made me think: why spend money on Montale when there is this Emper available, which turned out to be a profitable purchase in every way.
And the box with the bottle is luxurious, the brand knows how to present its creations!
The fragrance is delightful, soft, and truly oriental. It is very long-lasting, and on warm skin, it unfolds with spicy notes and a cherry aftertaste. This perfume is not at all mainstream, so it will always be a matter of personal taste.
Because the name has "oud" in it, I was expecting a more intense oud scent. The fragrance is very pleasant, warm, without any alcohol aggressiveness, even from the very beginning. It vaguely reminded me of Tom Ford Tobacco Vanilla, but unlike Ford's, it is less unisex. You won't smell like an old man. As for longevity, I tested it on my hand in the evening, woke up in the morning, and it still had a faint scent, although of course, it was already weak. It has a trail. If you love the oriental fragrances like I do, you can confidently order it. It is a very pleasant scent. People around me like it. No one asked what smells, as they did with Ford's Arabian Wood. The store as always pleased me. They gave me a 50g discount for my birthday. Delivery was on time. Thank you for adding to my collection of oriental fragrances.
I agree with Elena, I also smell cherry cigars. But goodness forbid, there is no cigarette smoke or ashtray as one might think. The fragrance is soft, not sharp, and doesn't remind me of a hospital. I use it as a spread, and it has a very nice scent. It reminds me of Franck Boclet's tobacco fragrance, but there was something bothering me about the base of Franck's version. This option is more wearable and easier for both those around me and myself to understand.
In the rain, it unfolded on me with sweet, but not gourmet notes. And the oud is also very clearly audible, especially at the beginning. The perfume reminded me of cherry cigarettes, but in a good way :). Overall, I liked the scent, even though I don't smoke. Generally, (especially if you don't look at the bottle in the form of a bow), I would call the perfume unisex.
I expected more freshness and vibrant notes from the scent. Instead, it leans more towards a floral-vanilla aroma. Interestingly, it was more captivating on a rainy day.
The perfume is similar to "Oud Vanilla" by Frank Olivier, but a bit lighter. It has a pleasant and unique sweetness, not your typical fragrance - more like dusty aromatic woody notes. I like it! It deserves more reviews! The bottle design is absolutely stunning, incomparable, and original! The makeup is, as always, impeccable quality work. Thank you!
I received the perfume and I want to say that at first it seemed too sweet to me. But then, I "heard" it differently. The centerpiece of the composition became a woody nuance of oud wood. It is so luxurious and versatile that it is practically impossible to catch its shades (it was precisely because of it that I paid attention to this fragrance). In terms of longevity, it can be clearly heard for about 6 hours, then it becomes more muted. I can smell it throughout the day.
Thank you MakeUp for the fast delivery.
