From the top of my experience, I can now give a fair assessment of this razor compared to others. I rate it 9/10. I deduct one point because it's made of brass with chrome plating, rather than stainless steel. After years of practice with various razors (from Chinese brands to the R41), I can easily achieve a BBS shave in three passes with the King C. Gillette. Previously, the R41 was my favorite for months. However, cross-testing showed that the R41 only differs in aggression, not efficiency. Understand this: I achieve virtually the same result with both the R41 and the King C. Gillette. With the R41, you might need just 1 or, at most, 2 fewer strokes on your face compared to the King C. Gillette, but the glide feeling is incomparable.

The King C. Gillette is a brilliant creation!
It's definitely not a razor for beginners. I would even say it's quite the opposite.
I bought this as a replacement for my old blade, which rusted after 3 months of use. I must say, I am pleasantly impressed. It is quite heavy but feels good in the hand. It securely holds interchangeable blades and has a stopper to prevent over-tightening. By the way, the included blades are sharp and undamaged. Currently, I am completely satisfied with the product and will update my experience after using it for some time.
