Immediately after opening, it smelled like plastic, and after washing it with boiling water (as instructed), the smell intensified, which was scary to bring it close to my face. I used to have a similar pad that came with the L'Oreal face cleanser (it fit right into the bottle) - it was a great item, but not everlasting, and it eventually wore out within the expected time frame. I bought this one as a replacement. It is completely different. It is made of some rubber material from a KAMAZ truck tire, small and even the suction cup is flimsy, making it convenient to hold between the fingers while washing. However, it is very flimsy. And this costs 100 UAH (!). I will look for another one. Titania is terrible.
