The MeLuna Classic Menstrual Cup with Stem, size M, featuring blue sparkles, from the MeLuna brand, offers a practical alternative to traditional tampons or pads. The cup has an optimal firmness level - Classic, which is particularly suitable for women with moderately trained pelvic floor muscles. Inserting the cup is similar to inserting a tampon. It easily unfolds inside and creates a vacuum. This vacuum is what ensures a comfortable fit and prevents leaks, even during sleep or physical activities. The cup remains flexible and imperceptible inside. It should be emptied based on the volume of menstrual flow but should not be worn for more than 12 hours at a time.
Features of the MeLuna Classic Menstrual Cup Stem:
- diameter – 41 mm;
- height – 48 mm;
- capacity - 28 ml;
- has a smooth surface that is pleasant to the skin;
- made from high-quality thermoplastic elastomer (TPE);
- hypoallergenic;
- prevents vaginal mucosa from drying out;
- easy to clean;
- retains its functionality over a long period of time;
- equipped with a special stem for easy removal of the filled cup.-
Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Ensure you wash your hands thoroughly with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are various folding methods—you can try them and choose the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and let it expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup should open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it has been placed correctly. If you're unsure, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you notice any dents or folds, the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once in place, try pulling slightly on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully positioned!
