Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. First, be sure to wash your hands with soap. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods you can try to find the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and let it expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating that it has been properly placed. If unsure, feel the base of the cup – when inserted correctly, it should be round or oval. If you feel dents or indentations, it means the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to form a suction seal. Once in place, try pulling slightly on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established and the cup is securely in place!
