Before using the cup for the first time, sterilize it in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Start by washing your hands thoroughly with soap. Fold the cup. There are various folding methods available, so you can experiment and choose the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and let it expand inside the vagina. Once inserted, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating that it has been properly positioned. If you are unsure, feel the base of the cup - it should be round or oval when correctly inserted. If you detect any dents or folds, it means the cup has not fully opened. Carefully grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once in place, gently pull on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully positioned!
