MeLuna – the first menstrual cups made in Germany. They are cost-effective and environmentally friendly compared to menstrual pads or tampons. Menstrual cups are compact in size and serve as sanitary-hygienic products for women. They are made from latex, silicone, or, in the case of MeLuna menstrual cups, from high-quality thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). MeLuna menstrual cups are inserted into the vagina to collect menstrual blood.

Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Make sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are different folding techniques; try them out to see which one works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. Upon proper insertion, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating correct placement. If you're unsure, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval upon insertion. If you notice any dents or folds, it means the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try twisting it to create a suction seal. Once in place, gently pull on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction seal is established, and the cup is correctly positioned!
